Collection System Odour and Corrosion Control

This one-day workshop will focus on determining the conditions and causes of odours generated within the collection system, in pipes and at lift stations. Drawing on best practices of utilities across North America, participants will assess strategies, tools, methods, installation, and materials to minimize and eliminate odours, and to deal with the sources of internal corrosion, such as the release of hydrogen sulfide which can damage pipes and pumps and shorten the working life of infrastructure.
