Disinfecting and Sampling of Small Water Systems

This one-day training seminar is intended to provide water systems operators with an understanding of some of the technical issues, underlying risk and best practices that apply to proper disinfection and quality assurances for drinking water systems serving up to a population of 10,000. Based on real experiences and practical perspectives of operators involved in the provision of good quality potable water, the primary focus is on identifying risks, disinfection techniques, sampling protocol and programs, water quality complaint investigation, emergency management and administration. Information is based on AWWA and government sources, and is recommended for operators regardless of experience.
